Robin Hood Episode Seven: “For England”

This book is dedicated to our editor, inspiration and encourager, our absolutely wonderful Mum.
Thank you so much, Mum, for the time you have spent with us, showing us how to write creatively,
editing and re-editing, suggesting ideas and alternative ways to present information,
providing the critique we so needed!
THANK YOU!

INTRODUCTORY COMMENT:

In 2008 the BBC’s second season of Robin Hood screened in New Zealand. From week to week anticipation ruled in our home as we sneaked a peek at the previews and wondered what would happen. Heated debate ensued as we tried to understand why the BBC would make Allan A Dale out to be a traitor. Then when we saw they were to kill off Edward next week (even if he would die a hero’s death), we could bear it no longer. We decided to write our own version.

Edward would live and Allan would remain faithful.

DISCLAIMER:

We do not own any of the characters. Everything belongs to BBC and Tiger Aspect Productions. This was written purely for entertainment and no profit will be gained by this (of course, if the BBC would like to purchase the storyline from us, we would be more than happy to enter into discussion with them).
